KD surprises fans 3 on 3 Hoopfest Nike Basketball Instagram Story

I teamed up with Nike Basketball and Vancouver-based agency Victory, to launch Kevin Durant’s KD10 shoe at the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world. I directed, filmed, and edited this 60-second Instagram Story that was shared shortly after the event.

The turnaround on this project was insane. Approximately 10:45 p.m. Thursday night, get the call to fly to Spokane. Friday, gather gear and fly out. Saturday, film all day at the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Sunday, from the moment he gets off the plane to the moment he leaves, film the most popular basketball player on the planet as he surprises thousands of hoop fans. Then, send us the finished video in two hours… to be posted on the Nike Basketball IG story. That… is pressure.
